The JAS standard is a specialized Japanese standard for companies that produce organic products and export them to Japan. The JAS standard is harmonized with the European Regulation on Organic Agriculture and the certification areas of the standard include food, feed, livestock products, but not alcoholic beverages, and define their quality and production standards.
