ISO 14064 Greenhouse gas emissions

ISO 14064 is an environmental standard that aims to tackle climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. It provides a framework for calculating and verifying greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in companies seeking to quantify and reduce them. It is addressed to companies that set as their primary goal, the reduction of their carbon footprint but also the more rational management of greenhouse gas emissions regardless of their type, product, or service.

ISO 14001: 2015

ISO 14001 is an international standard that sets out the general requirements for what a business should do to manage the impact of its activities on the environment. The aim is to identify and control its environmental issues related to the operation of the company. It is addressed to all businesses or organizations that aim to establish, implement, and improve an environmental management system.

EMAS (Ecological Management and Control System)

EMAS is an environmental management and control system defined by an EU regulation to control, document and mitigate environmental impacts. The participation of the companies is not compulsory by law, it is valid worldwide and covers all sectors of the economy and services. It is addressed to all companies and organizations regardless of their type, size, product, or service provided that have an impact on the environment.

Ecolabel

Ecolabel focuses on the sustainable production and consumption of products and services. The aim is to study a product or service throughout its life cycle and to quantify its negative effects for the environmental protection. It is a commitment to environmental sustainability and it is addressed to a wide range of businesses.

MEASUREMENT & COMPENSATION OF CARBON FOOTPRINT OF PRODUCTS OR SERVICES “CARBON FOOTPRINT – CO2 EMISSION IMPRESSION”

It is an internationally recognized method and includes the measurement of greenhouse gases emitted during the operations of each company, as well as a plan to reduce emissions and produce climate-neutral products or services. It is addressed to all companies and organizations regardless of their type, size, product, or service provided with more or less impact on the environment.

PAS 2050: 2011

It provides customized guidelines and sets requirements for greenhouse gas (GHG) emission assessments to enable more efficient application and carbon footprint measurement. It targets all categories of businesses, regardless of their object, product, or service, in order to assess the impact of their day-to-day activities on climate change.

PAS 2060:2014

It is based on other environmental standards such as PAS 2050: 2011 and ISO 14064 and sets general requirements for achieving climate-neutral carbon footprint by reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. It is addressed to all categories of companies, regardless of their type, product or service.
