Good Agricultural Practice
AGRO 2.1-2.2
The standard was established by the National Organization AGROCERT-ELGO DIMITRA and its scope of certification includes the production of safe and quality products by implementing the system of Integrated Management and the ISO 9001 standard in the agricultural practice.
AGRO 3
The standard was established by the National Organization AGROCERT-ELGO DIMITRA and its scope of certification includes the production of safe and quality pork products. Each stage of the production process can be certified separately. It is addressed to companies that produce pork meat and its derivative products.
AGRO 4
This standard was established by the National Organization AGROCERT-ELGO DIMITRA and its scope of certification includes the production of safe and quality fish farming products. Emphasis is given on both the production and processing stages as well as the standardization and distribution stages. It is addressed to fish farming companies.
AGRO 7
The Agro 7 standard, according to AGROCERT, certifies all animal production companies as meat products from animals that have not been bred with genetically modified feed. It is addressed to companies that cover all stages of meat production.
GLOBALGAP
It is an international standard that presupposes the application of rules of good agricultural practice to produce safe and quality products and at the same time the protection of producers, consumers, and the environment. It is addressed to individual producers, producer groups as well as agricultural processing companies.
GLOBAL GAP – Chain of Custody
This is an addition to the GLOBALGAP standard, and its purpose is to prevent misleading the consumer. It was developed to ensure that products sold with GLOBALGAP certification come from a certified supplier and cover all stages from the production to the distribution of the final product. It is addressed to all companies that distribute GLOBAL GAP certified products so that they can make use of the brand mark.
GLOBAL GAP – GRASP
It is an extension of the GLOBALGAP standard and its scope of certification is the application of good social practices in the primary sector. Assessment issues are the health, safety, and well-being of the employees. It is addressed to individual producers, producer groups as well as agricultural processing companies.
JAS ORGANIC
The JAS standard is a specialized Japanese standard for companies that produce organic products and export them to Japan. The scope of certification of the standard includes food, feed, livestock products except for the alcoholic beverages, and determine their quality and production standards.
USDA ORGANIC
The USDA Organic standard is a specialized standard for exporting organic products to the United States. Its scope of certification covers products of plant and animal origin and their processed derivatives.
